Meet Dr. Koster
At Locust Valley Dentists, Dr. Adrianne Koster wants to help everyone achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. She understands the unique dental health needs and concerns that accompany every stage of life. She’s known for both her eye for detail and a gentle chairside manner. Her patients say she is warm, caring, and the best dentist they’ve ever seen.
She is a graduate of The State University at Stony Brook Dental School and completed her General Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she treated an underserved community and continued to develop her approach to caring for kids and adults. During her early career, she worked at several prestigious Manhattan practices using high-tech treatments for both general and cosmetic procedures.
She brings her experience, education, and expertise to Locust Valley Dentists, creating a family dentistry practice that’s truly one of a kind.

Family Dentistry Services
Kids
We help kids get off on the right foot when it comes to their dental health. From their very first checkup and exam, our dentists and staff take pride in creating a friendly and welcoming environment for our young patients. We work closely with kids and their parents, helping them learn the importance of lifelong dental health.
What to watch for:
- Cavities in baby teeth
- Avoiding dental anxiety
- Creating good brushing and flossing habits
Teens
The teenage years are a time of transition and change. We help teenage patients take responsibility for their own dental health, answering their questions, and helping them plan for the future. We talk to teenagers about how their diet affects the health and appearance of their teeth and how to spot signs of possible decay and disease, especially as they enter young adulthood.
What to watch for:
- Tooth decay and cavities
- Broken and cracked teeth
- Wisdom tooth extractions
